Regan Ryan

Regan is in her first year with the Water Rats this season and has already made a huge impact on the SAG training group. Regan is currently in the 7th grade at Madison Middle school in Trumball, CT. Regan's fondest memory in this sport was making her first Age Group Championship cut in the butterfly events as a 9 year old. Regan has the ability to swim any race and qualify for Age Groups in every Butterfly, Freestyle, Backstroke, and Individual Medley event there is. If she can improve her Breaststroke this year she will be one of the fastest IMers in the state of Connecticut for her age group! Below is a list of favorites;

Jude Dequeljoe

Jude returns to the Water Rat swim team this year to join his older brother Charlie on the JAG1 squad. Jude is already a very decorated athlete. Last year, his first time attending the YMCA New England Swimming Championships, Jude was a 4-time winner in the 25 freestyle, 50 freestyle, 100 Medley Relay, and 100 Freestyle Relay. Jude had the fastest split on the 100 Freestyle relay, which broke a 29 year old Y-New England record by over 4 seconds! Jude is currently a 3rd grader at Riverfield Elementary School. A two-time Water Rat record holder in the 8/under 25 and 50 freestyle, the coaching staff is excited to see which records Jude plans on breaking this year! Below is a list of his favorites.
