Meet Info Sheet

MEET TIMES:

TIMING:

• Friday: Swimmer provides own time
• Saturday and Sunday: WE ARE IN NEED OF ONE (1) TIMER FOR EACH SESSION
  • PLEASE SIGN UP – Anticipated Session End Times:
    • Saturday AM: 1030am
    • Sunday AM: 1115am

• Sessions are not long.  Please step and be great ambassadors for the team.

ENTERING THE Y: The Y has taken very seriously Praesidium guidelines with regards to visitors entering the facility for events.  Our November meet was a trial run.  Hopefully we have streamlined the process and this is IMPORTANT INFORMATION for you to get to your families.

• ALL visitors must check-in upon entering the building.
  • Once checked in, may enter the observation area.
• Swimmers may go directly to the pool deck via the observation area.
  • We will know swimmers that are in each session once scratch sheets are and can generate a roster if needed.
• Adults will need to have their Driver’s License scanned up on entry.  We have set-up staff to expedite this process.  Those with additional siblings will have their names put on a list.
  • Those that attended our November meet were very patient as it was the first large event in which we began this process.
  • It is for the safety of the swimmers and those in the building.

MISCELLANEOUS NOTES:

• Some swimmers have talked with me about “suiting” up for specific races.  Wanted to make you all aware.  Communication needs to be done with prior to the start of the meet weekend regarding a request to wear a tech suit in any specific race(s).
• Swimmers will be sitting on the pool deck – benches on the side wall.
• Water bottle and nutritious snacks

WATER RAT TEAM APPAREL ONLY!!!

LIVESTREMING: We will be livestreaming –here is the LINK.  We will again be offering an opportunity to watch the livestream in off site or your car, Starbucks, etc.

• Heat Sheets will be available for free on Meet Mobile

MEET APPAREL VENDOR:  Will be on-site for those that would like to purchase meet apparel. 

PARKING: We request everyone park in the far two rows – away from the Merritt – so that our members have accessible parking.  Saturday and Sunday AM are the busiest usage times and any way we can offset complaints would be greatly appreciated.  We will not have anyone out directing traffic and relying on the Y core value of honesty for meet visitors to park in these rows. Especially he morning sessions before the Y opens.

• Swimmer drop off in front of the building is allowed. Then, please proceed to those designated rows for parking.

SPECTATOR SEATING: We will have spectator seating.
