Challenger 2 News from Coach Cruz

Hello all:

We are ending January really really soon.  Practices have been great.  We started this week going back to basics and reviewing some skills. 

Our next meet is next weekend and that information is up and all set.  Just a reminder that they separated the sessions from the 10 and unders and 11/12's.  Please note the new times for next weekend.  The 13 and overs at Monroe is still the same as of now.

We had CT YMCA State Championships last weekend.  We had over 1000 swimmers from all the state competing in the meet.  Challenger 2 rose to the occassion. 

8 out 15 Challenger 2 swimmers had a best time in every event.  Those swimmers include:

• Arthur Ivanov
• Nicholas Ivanov
• Jaelle Joseph
• Kirill Kyrychenko
• Julian Nicolae
• Michael Robinson
• Xander Saad

We had one swimmer had a best time in every event except one: Alejandro Koster

We have regular practice schedule this week and next.  More information about the meet next week coming soon.
