IMPORTANT TECHNICAL NOTES:

 

  • Thursday:
    • We need to supply our own timers for the relays and distance events
  • ALL Relays will be swum at Finals
    • Relays will run slowest to fastest
  • Friday 400IM and Saturday 500 Freestyle will be swum Fastest to Slowest, alternating women and men.
  • Sunday Distance:
    • Top 8 will swim at Finals
    • Remaining swimmers will swim after the prelim session alternating women/men fastest o slowest.
  • TOP 24 return for Finals.
    • ALL SWIMMERS THAT MAKE THE TOP 24, WILL SWIM IN THE FINALS SESSION

 

TEAM APPAREL ONLY

  • When you walk on deck, you are have your team suit on and wear only Water Rat team apparel.  No high School. No CT Zone. No college. No summer club. No to anything else.
  • DECK SHOES – Wear your sneakers when not swimming.  Will feet warm and offers support to help off-set leg fatigue.

 

WORK ASSIGNMENTS:

They have not been posted on CT Swim as I type this Info Sheet.  As soon as they are published, we will do our best to get on it as quickly as possible.  Friday prelims is a challenging session

 

SUNDAY: Spring Forward.  Remember, clocks move forward one hour.  Plan your dinner and get to bed as early as possible.

 

RELAYS: Here is the list and please know, they are always subject to change.  When two names are listed for a possible position, I will do my best to inform the swimmer(s) as soon as possible.  This is a TEAM meet and there are times it may be inconvenient, and I reiterate – TEAM MEET.  Also, only women’s relays due to the boy’s high school season. Order is not necessarily as listed. Again, changes may/will occur.
