Challenger 2 Update

Hello everyone:
Some quick updates...
  • Practices have been awesome this week at the YMCA.  Attendance has been great and the swimmers are responding to some great work
  • There is practice Thursday, 6/26, 4:45 -6:00pm and Saturday 6/28, 8:45 - 10:!5am
  • Please don't forget to communicate if your swimmer is going to miss swimming for a while for whatever reason... it is always good to keep the lines of communication open.
 
REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS:
  • Date of the meet:  7/19 and 7/20
  • The deadline to commit to the meet, OR NOT to commit to the meet is the end of the day on Wednesday, 7/2.  Please please please please please please commit one way or the other.  It is a championship meet and we want to make sure we do NOT miss anyone.  
  • Once you commit to the meet your account will be charged, even if you do NOT show up to the meet.  
  • In addition, our team will be asked to provide volunteer timers based on the number of swimmers we have entered in the meet.  The fewer swimmers who commit, the fewer volunteers we are responsible for, and of course more swimmers then more volunteers.  So please please please please please commit one way or the other.  
  • LOCATION:  either in Wilton, Brookfield, or East Hartford.  We will know about a week before the meet where our location will be.
  • TIMES: 7:15am warm up regardless of the location.

Don't forget to commit one way or the other to Regionals by the end of Wednesday, 7/2.  (Just in case I didn't mention it.)
