The deadline for the first two meets have passed. The next upcoming deadline is for the NSSC meet in Massachusetts. We are only going one day to the meet. Hello Challenger 2 Families: Week 2 of Clinics were completed yesterday with a game of WRATopoly. We did have a great week of clinics as we used the head sets and the swimmers really responded well to the instructions. We have one more week of clinics this coming week, 6:15 - 7:15pm Monday through Thursday before we go into our Spring Break. It should be noted we do have Senior swimmers competing at the 2025 YMCA National Championships and we have Challenger 1 swimmers competing in the Eastern Zone Championships....
Hard to believe we’ve been at it for seven months already as we wrap up a FUN and FAST short course season and successful championships across the board. I hope you all are enjoying some down time with our reduced schedule while we await the start of long course season. Long Course season runs April through July and refers to the fact the meets are held in 50-meter pools, opposed to 25-yard pools for short course. We will continue to follow the same practice schedule as short course through June....
As we wind down the Short Course season, I am looking to the Long Course season, which will be upon us before you know it. To that end, because we have several new swimmers joining the competitive team, we are offering team apparel again for purchase. One final reminder, There are NO Discovery or Challenger practices today (3/14) or tomorrow (3/15). Red and Blue swimmers will practice today 5:15-6:15pm, and tomorrow 9-9:45am. ALL 12&Under swimmers will be OFF all of next week, and return for 3 weeks of a modified schedule geared towards stroke work, starting Monday 3/24.
